Analysis of existing activities in the development of new products. Identification of weaknesses leading to substandard time-to-market, cost and
quality. Design of a customized process for new product development: definition of project phases, checklists for gate reviews,
collaboration with external partners, design of a project cockpit, risk management, documentation.

Analysis of processes, competencies, interfaces, tools, projects and underlying strategy. Recommendations concerning improvement
of time-to-market, quality, cost, risk management, organisation and project management to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Analysis and assessment of technical collaboration between a supplier and his client. Description of processes, interfaces, communication
and data exchange. Identification and analysis of possible disruptions and of the potential for improvement. Definition of individual
changes and compilation of a concrete action plan.
Duration of mandate: 4 weeks
> International Collaboration (Appliance)
Description of key competence areas, responsibilities and interfaces between business units in Europe, the US and Asia. Analysis of
potential conflicts with regard to roles, responsibilities, key accounts, internal communication, central processes and product provision.
Definition and acceptance of responsibilities, agreement of a code of conduct, roadmaps for future periodic planning meetings.
Duration of mandate: 2 weeks
> Process Optimisation (Power Industry)
Requirements analysis in printing logistics: modernisation of infrastructure and optimisation of underlying processes. Completion of
requirement specification concerning content, design, production and shipping of approx. 20 million postal items per year. Identification
and assessment of project partners and suppliers.
Duration of mandate: 7 months
> Competence Development (Renewable Energy)
Survey of current know-how within the team. Analysis of skills required to fulfill the mid-term-plan. Identification and profiling
of potential partners and acquisition candidates. Further analysis and interviews. Compilation of a short list.
Duration of mandate: 2 months
> R&D Efficiency Improvement (Banking Automation)
Analysis of an R&D organisation, spread over six sites in Europe and the US, with a high overlap in projects and in areas of expertise.
Focus of investigation: Quality of collaboration, processes, responsibilities, project management, communication, competencies and
standardisation. Initialisation of improvements in knowledge interchange, resource management across locations and unification of tools
and processes.
